Objectives

The objectives for which the Organization is formed are:

  1. To execute sustainable poverty eradication programs through an Empowered World View approach by facilitating communities and households to identify their inner potentials that they can use to develop themselves.
  2. To build the capacity of farm families to be able to network with other actors under the value chain and to effectively engage duty bearers on the implementation of development policies.
  3. To collectively with other stakeholders and beneficiaries advocate and influence government on pro-poor policies
  4. To ensure that there are adequate financial and non-financial resources at all times for the purpose of promoting the objectives of the organization and procure contributions by way of donations, subscriptions, devises, and bequests towards the organization.
  5. To enhance our legitimacy and constantly maintain the highest standards of accountability to the people and communities where we work.
  6. To develop and maximize the utilization of skills, knowledge and capacity of our organizational human resources and relationships across various parts of the organization for increased synergy and reduced wasteful duplication of efforts and resources.

LINK Ghana desires to achieve these strategic objectives through effective and efficient use of resources, strategic partnership and skills development approaches. The strategy will pursue the following strategic objectives to ensure organizational effectiveness and sustainable results;

  1. Improved strategic programing and execution with the EAGLE principle (E=Execute, A=Agility, G=Grace, L=Love and E=Efficiency)
  2. Improved staff quality, committed and organizational focus and true long lasting partnership at all levels
  3. Improved organizational resource acquisition and management
  4. Strengthened organizational capacity and structures for research, innovation and learning
