Who We Are
Dedicated to Community Development and Social Impact
LINK Ghana started working in the Northern Region of Ghana in January 2005 with Kalariga Primary School by educating over 67 pupils on the need for education. Pupils were also provided with free educational learning materials such as exercise and reading books, pencils, erasers and educative games.
Mission
LINK-Ghana’s mission is to eradicate poverty by overcoming the injustice and inequity that cause it. This will be achieved by working with the poor and marginalized people and their households and communities by igniting their inner potentials to champion their own development.
Our Programs
Driving Impact Through Community-Focused Initiatives
Food Security and Livelihoods Development
The Food Sovereignty and Livelihoods Development Programme has the strategic objective of improving household and community food security and resilience.
Behavioral Change Communication (BCC)
Under the third programme area of BCC through capacity building, the programme has the strategic objective of improving the mindset of youth and adults leading to improved community development participation and leadership roles.
Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation
LINK-Ghana adopts an approach that seeks to improve projects and programs design leading to project and programs implementation and results documentation.
Cross Cutting Issues
Gender, Disability, Environment and Child Protection are key mainstreaming issues in all programmes and project activities.
LINK-Ghana Operational Models, Approaches and Strategic Initiatives
The vehicle of LINK Ghana delivery is through Food Sovereignty and Livelihoods Development Technical Program anchored on the domains of Development Programming Approach, and Livelihoods Outcomes.
Crowdfunding Campaign
Every day, thousands of children in rural Northern Ghana attend school on empty stomachs. Your support will establish 25 School-Based Aquaponics Systems and plant 1,250 trees to provide nutritious meals and hands-on learning opportunities for schoolchildren.
